Blockchain At Yonsei(BAY) Joins as a Validator for Function X!
We are pleased to announce that Blockchain At Yonsei, also known as BAY, has officially joined as a validator as part of our partnership with Function X. This significant decision will be an important step towards expanding BAY’s vision and goals, extending our community globally, and strengthening BAY’s role in the blockchain ecosystem. We also would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Function X team for their warm welcome into their ecosystem.
Function X is a Layer1 chain, constructed utilizing CosmosSDK and Tendermint, and maintains compatibility with EVM. Through its mainnet, known as FXCore, it is diligently working towards the comprehensive expansion of the blockchain ecosystem. This includes not only DeFi but also perpetual trading protocols, payment system chains, and more. These efforts align strongly with the core values of BAY. Now, as a validator for Function X, we are in a position to contribute even more towards the realization of these objectives.
As a validator, BAY will undertake the responsibility of maintaining network stability and verifying transactions. This role will not only establish BAY as a key member of the Function X network but will also enable us to deliver greater value to our community.
BAY is committed to fostering collaborations with innovative platforms such as Function X, with the aim of providing optimal value to our community and exploring the untapped potential of blockchain technology. About Function X Foundation
Function X Foundation is a non-profit, independent organization that supports the growth of the Function X Ecosystem, a next-generation internet service framework, built entirely on and for the blockchain. It is a completely new ecosystem providing a novel service framework by improving the existing internet and blockchain architectures, combining the benefits of both, and using the most commonly used technical solutions. The Foundation has been set up to manage the usage of the Ecosystem Genesis Fund, which aims to motivate, encourage and facilitate service providers to join and get rooted into the Function X Ecosystem.
